Getting the Best Results

Because the stainless steel layer is thick, the wok needs proper preheating to perform at its best. Add some oil first, then preheat on medium heat for 30 to 60 seconds, or longer on a less efficient cooktop such as ceramic. A reasonably heated pan and heated oil (not overheating) are key. Turn down the temperature whenever the wok is too hot, and avoid high heat, which can damage the non-stick layer as with other non-stick cookware.
